Should you hire an International Career Coach to help you find a job away from your home country? Are you planning to secure the job of your dreams this year? If the answer is yes, you might want to read further…

I help my clients reignite their careers after a career break or an international move. I assist them in their career transformation strategies. Some of my clients have been out of the job market for many years and I have been successful in my attempts to bring them back to the business world.

I focus mainly on expat women, because I am an expat myself and have been an immigrant my whole life. I know what it takes to move abroad, find a new job, acquire new skills, learn a new language and a new corporate culture.

I am the expert in career change because I successfully re-invented my career across 7 different countries within a period of 8 years! I started in the non-profit sector, then I went into consulting, then I worked in private firms and now I am an entrepreneur.

I am a seasoned Human Resources (HR) professional with a Certification in HR Management from the University of Berkeley, CA. I have worked as a Recruiter in Silicon Valley where I scouted talent for the biggest tech companies of the planet. I am an expert in Networking & Personal Marketing techniques.

I have started my career at the United Nations and worked in different countries around the globe serving great causes. I was always connected to my purpose and mission: INCLUDE OUTSIDERS.

I help people feel included socially and professionally wherever they are. I have coached hundreds of people in order to help them find new jobs or to help them create their own jobs. In addition to that, I offer support for young entrepreneurs and have developed Career Coaching Series in partnership with companies such as Intel, Xerox, KeepCoding, Linkedin and many more

I have spent the past 10 years of my life fine tuning my methods and systems and have developed a coaching programme that will help you land the job you want, wherever you are, within the shortest period of time.

Typically, my clients are successful in their job search within 3 months of working with me. I have helped many people along the way, mainly because of my net of contacts and because I am an active networker. I belong to every major expat hub, club, group and community and this has served me very well. I focus, in particular, on Silicon Valley and on the Swiss job market.

I currently live in Switzerland, but have lived and worked in San Francisco and most of my clients are based in California, where I spend a good part of my year.

Thalwil, Switzerland

Since 2015, I have lived in Thalwil with my husband and my three fabulous kids. After my three totally different birth experiences, I felt driven to become a Doula in order to help other women have the best birth experience possible. I feel strongly that how and where you give birth makes a difference for the baby and the family.

Designing the details of your child’s birth is an extremely personal decision and my goal is to support you every step of the way. My greatest pleasure comes from being able to meet wonderful families and to care for them, not just during pregnancy, but during birth and afterwards, helping them become more prepared parents.

My web-page is currently only in German, but I do speak English, so please do not hesitate to contact me for any reason. I’m looking forward to hear from you and supporting you through this wonderful experience.

Langnau am Albis, Switzerland

This is my second time in Switzerland and I’ve been living in Langnau am Albis since 2006, the same year I set up my business Healthy And Safe Away From Home. Originally a medical doctor, I’ve also been a CPR and first aid instructor for nearly 20 years. One of my most popular public courses, all of which I run in English, is a First Aid on Children course for parents, grandparents, nannies or anyone else caring for infants and children. Being a mother myself and having worked in paediatrics, I know of the insecurities of parents when their child is unwell or injured. My mission is to give parents knowledge and confidence to deal with daily ailments as well as injuries or illnesses they are likely to face. I am very passionate about sharing my expertise in a language that every parent understands.

I offer a wide range of programmes and workshops, from certifiable CPR and first aid courses, to awareness and corporate health workshops. My customers include international and bilingual schools and childcare providers as well as international corporations. I also offer customised and private workshops. Why not book a first aid course for yourself and a group of friends or family in the comfort of your own home?

My passion to share knowledge and raise awareness is also reflected in a project close to my heart, Health & Safety Day. Together with three colleagues, I organise this event, a unique combination of workshops, seminars and expo all around health, safety, nutrition and well-being of body and mind. The next Health & Safety Day takes place in Zürich on March 11, 2017. See http://www.healthsafetyday.ch for more details,

Horgen, Switzerland

I am a photographer specialising in portraits (family and individuals), corporate, commercial and event photography. I moved to Switzerland with my family in 2013. My husband is Swiss and after nearly 10 years in the UK wanted to return home. We have a nearly 9 year old daughter who’s managed to pick up the language in less than a year. We moved to Horgen from London, where I was a Commercial Negotiator for the financial services industry for over 18 years.

Since moving to CH, I had the opportunity to bring to the fore my passion – Art, creativity and photography and haven’t looked back. Most of you will understand the need to balance home, work and children. This allows me to do that and in such a great place!

If you would like a family shoot, a business portrait or to spruce up your own business website and/or publicity tools please get in touch. Consultation is free and I’m happy to listen to your requirements and/or ideas. Please take a look at some of my work on my website or professional FB page. Look forward to hearing from you.

Marisa_Konig_Beatty.jpg

(she/her) My parents like to say I left the womb running, so it was no surprise when I found my calling in dance. Originally from Texas, I began my career in NYC as a performer and choreographer after graduating from Barnard College in 1997. Through my experience co-founding and directing a multidisciplinary performance space in Brooklyn, I discovered my calling behind the scenes: as a curator, arts administrator, program manager, and all around cultural advocate.  Love and life moved me to Brussels in 2007 where I expanded my artistic network through various projects and became a mother. Twice.  Since moving to Switzerland in 2012 I have developed several programs focused on intercultural dialogue intended for audiences and culture-philes of all ages and nationalities through my own company, könig beatty projects.  Additionally, my alter-ego Kulturmama puts out a regular, English-language e-newsletter featuring tips on local cultural happenings and events, as well as ways to activate around topics of diversity and inclusion.  To sign up for the newsletter or find out more visit my website!

I do pilates postrecovery with baby, pilates matclass, fitdankbaby prenatal, fitdankbaby indoor, fitdankbaby outdoor and personal training. I am very keen on properly aligned body movements, working especially on core-based (torso and pelvic floor) areas which are particularly important to mothers.

We also have a lot of fun, sing and laugh together especially in the fitdankbaby® courses, where the babies are involved in the concept and enjoy fdb® because they have other babies to keep them company.

Come and visit corepilates / fitdankbaby and start your sports journey today. One thing we can promise is you won’t be disappointed in fact you will probably become addicted!

Thalwil, Switzerland

I moved to Switzerland 11 years ago and have two sons, aged 3 and 5. I grew up in a very sporty family (both mum and dad were marathon runners and mountaineers, so my way in life was almost pre-determined)…early 2016 I started stadt.land.fit, which offers group outdoor fitness classes in Thalwil and in Thalwil’s back country. Weather is no object: raining, sunny, muddy, cold or misty…the classes are outside, and they utilise steps, benches, poles, sports fields, and primarily, the weight of your own body to get fit in the fresh air. Our training focuses on functional interval training to prepare your body for what everyday life is demanding of yourself. There are five classes a week. The website is currently only in German, but I do speak English and can do the classes in both languages, so don’t hesitate to contact me!

Angelica.jpg
Zürich, Switzerland

Originally from the USA, I moved to Zurich from Liverpool, England with my husband and dog Sydney in 2010. Since then, we’ve had 3 children (born 2012, 2014, 2016) and in need of a bigger home, we relocated to Horgen.

Since 2011, Girlfriend Guide has encouraged English speaking women living in and around Zurich to “discover their city”. Online Girlfriend Guide offers: an Events Calendar, City Guide and Lifestyle Blog. Offline, Girlfriend Guide offers fun, sociable and interesting events throughout the city at local businesses like wine shops, fashion boutiques and fitness studios. We also offer promotions like Spa & Wellness Week and an Advent Calendar, which annually gives away more than 8,000CHF in prizes over 25 days. Girlfriend Guide has recently been featured on TedXYouth, Mums in Heels and as panelists for the Professional Womens Group.

Girlfriend Guide is open to everyone – you don’t need to be a member. The online sites are free of charge and a small fee is charged for in-person events.

Danna.jpg
Wädenswil, Switzerland

I moved to Switzerland from Israel in 2005 with my hubby, and have been living here ever since. In the last 8 years we’ve managed to grow into a family of four, having two boys who keep us busy nonstop. I’ve always been interested in cooking nutritiously, and after developing my kids love for cooking, as well as the understanding of what healthy eating really means, I decided to go on and teach others as well. I now offer a range of services, from cooking classes for kids and adults, to catering, party entertainment, camps, private courses, private cook, team events and much more. We only use organic, local ingredients as much as possible, and focus on meals the whole family loves, and don’t take long to make.

KinZ Christine and Valentine.jpg

We are Valentine (mum of 3 kids, living in Wangen), and Christine (mum of 2 kids, living in Horgen). We arrived together in 2013 in Zürich area, but we go way back, we were in the same high school! Our company, KinZ, provides tshirts for kids from 2 to 6 years old. It comes from the fact that it can be incredibly difficult to dress up our kids in the morning.

KinZ has a whole universe of characters kids like: animals (owl, elephant, monkey, butterfly…. ) or machines (tram, plane, boat…). Each character has a name and a story with a pedagogic objective.

And since we are mums and we want the best for our kids, we choose to produce our tshirts using 100% cotton, with a very good printing quality. We also make sure the price is still very competitive: 9.90 CHF per tshirt!

Grace.jpg
Zürich, Switzerland

I came to Switzerland 3 years ago and meanwhile had my first baby daughter. When she was born I decided that I wanted to have another baby: my own business! I noticed there was a lack of small parties events organisers so I started Party with Grace.

Party with Grace specialises in bringing that “it” to your party – the thing that impresses your guests, making the event that much more pleasant and memorable, while at the same time leaving you the time and energy to focus on whats important – your party, your guests, you.

From birthdays, to bridal showers, to a special brunch with a couple of friends, we provide a complete premium service: decor, stationary, catering advice, flower arrangements and clean up after the event.

Zürich, Switzerland

Originally from Scotland, I moved to Switzerland in 2011 from Australia with my husband. We have two sons Jack (born 2011) and Archie (born 2013).

I love fashion and sewing, so I started making my son baby bandanas and bibs, which were a big hit with my mummy’s group. I received many orders for custom items, so lamercs was born.

My creations have grown along with my boys, from bibs to scarves to superhero capes and bags for kindergarden. Also many items for girls!

All lamercs creations are 100% handmade, fun and quirky while practical for cool little cubs.

Viviane.jpg
Horgen, Switzerland

Viviane started her career in fitness as a specialized postnatal fitness instructor for a large organisation. She had always dreamt of running her own small business, giving her more flexibility, and the ability to combine her love for fitness with pelvic floor training, and nutrition coaching. And so, following the birth of her second daughter in 2016, she set up Well Mama. Initially a business focused on the wellbeing of mothers and mothers-to-be, Well Mama has now expanded to offer services that cater to the entire family.

A passionate advocate for women’s health, and a mother herself, Viviane understands the stresses and trepidations that come with trying to stay healthy and strong while looking after a young family. She’s a big believer that an active lifestyle is one of the greatest gifts you can share with your family, and so she’s on a mission to get the whole family moving!

At CrossFit Thalwil, Viviane teaches immediate postnatal, postnatal & beyond, functional fitness, as well as children’s fitness classes. She is a qualified Personal Trainer, and has extensive experience coaching women from early stages of pregnancy through to postpartum and beyond.

Viviane recently qualified as a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and holds several other qualifications in the fitness and pelvic floor recovery areas. She lives in Horgen with her husband and two young daughters, and loves to experiment in the kitchen in her spare time.
