This is my second time in Switzerland and I’ve been living in Langnau am Albis since 2006, the same year I set up my business Healthy And Safe Away From Home. Originally a medical doctor, I’ve also been a CPR and first aid instructor for nearly 20 years. One of my most popular public courses, all of which I run in English, is a First Aid on Children course for parents, grandparents, nannies or anyone else caring for infants and children. Being a mother myself and having worked in paediatrics, I know of the insecurities of parents when their child is unwell or injured. My mission is to give parents knowledge and confidence to deal with daily ailments as well as injuries or illnesses they are likely to face. I am very passionate about sharing my expertise in a language that every parent understands.
I offer a wide range of programmes and workshops, from certifiable CPR and first aid courses, to awareness and corporate health workshops. My customers include international and bilingual schools and childcare providers as well as international corporations. I also offer customised and private workshops. My passion to share knowledge and raise awareness is also reflected in a project close to my heart, Health & Safety Day. Together with three colleagues, I organise this event, a unique combination of workshops, seminars and expo all around health, safety, nutrition and well-being of body and mind.
