Originally from the USA, I moved to Zurich from Liverpool, England with my husband and dog Sydney in 2010. Since then, we’ve had 3 children (born 2012, 2014, 2016) and in need of a bigger home, we relocated to Horgen.
Since 2011, Girlfriend Guide has encouraged English speaking women living in and around Zurich to “discover their city”. Online Girlfriend Guide offers: an Events Calendar, City Guide and Lifestyle Blog. Offline, Girlfriend Guide offers fun, sociable and interesting events throughout the city at local businesses like wine shops, fashion boutiques and fitness studios. We also offer promotions like Spa & Wellness Week and an Advent Calendar, which annually gives away more than 8,000CHF in prizes over 25 days. Girlfriend Guide has recently been featured on TedXYouth, Mums in Heels and as panelists for the Professional Womens Group.
Girlfriend Guide is open to everyone – you don’t need to be a member. The online sites are free of charge and a small fee is charged for in-person events.
